	From the Family Boundaries Exercise you completed, write down the word that best describes your family in each category as it is right now. If you already have a foster or adoptive placement, write down the word in each category that best described your family BEFORE the child(ren) arrived.

	Based on all that you have learned so far, do you think that any of the words that you use to describe your family in these categories will change or need to change if you have foster and/or adoptive children placed with you? If so, write down the new word in each category (if you believe there will be a new word).

	For each of the areas, write down how you will make the change. For example, if in communication you now are subtle, will you need to be more direct? If so, how will you do so? If your rules are now unspoken (or assumed because everyone has grown up with them), how will your rules need to change to accommodate the new family member? Will they need to become written? Are they rigid, flexible or a little of each? What will you do to make the change?
