Unit Two: Adoption

Activity: You Aren't In This Alone!

By now you might be feeling slightly overwhelmed. It is important to recognize that foster and adoptive parenting is not a job you can do on your own. You are part of a team which can provide you resources and support.

But how do you find the resources?

Begin with systems you already know about or have already had experience with. (Check your ecosystem in Session 3.)

If you find you need more space or you don't have access to a printer, remember that you can use your Resource Guide or plain paper to complete these questions.

	List the types of "Resources for Children" with which you are already familiar, that might provide services for children. (Resources can be specific or general.)

	Now list resources that provide services to parents with which you are already familiar.
