Session 8

Unit Four: Resources and Support

The experience of foster or adoptive parenting is unique. Foster and adoptive children usually bring a past that is very different than your experience. Your ecosystem expands to include many other systems and as we’ve discussed in this session, you will be assuming many more responsibilities that are unique to foster and adoptive parenting.

It is important that you and your family understand and plan for these changes.
