Toolbox Training
Parenting Physically Aggressive Children
and Youth
Presented by Jean Bunnell
This six-hour training is intended for experienced
foster and adoptive parents who are challenged by children with angry,
explosive, and aggressive behaviors. The day focuses on specific strategies and
skill-building exercises designed to help parents make a plan to respond to
aggression, to recognize escalation and prevent explosive outbursts, and to know
when additional help might be needed. Other areas addressed include the need for
self-care and crisis plans.
